New creation

Here is my latest creation. I love how the collage of photos turned out on this one. Besides it is so fun of Sara showing off her new monkey bar skills.
We are sitting enjoying tornado like winds and rain again today. With the heat index at 105 it is a killer of a day!

Up to today

Well my class is flying along with 2 lessons down and 4 to go. Here is a layout from my class #2 with hand drawn title and doodled embellishments. The photos are from a huge stack taken last summer at my brother's beautiful wedding. I have been pleased with how the whole stack has been turning out.
Not much planned for the weekend but the week has been busy with extra fun activities with the girls. We have done a trip to the zoo, art classes Tuesday and Thursday, a water fun play day and lunch with new friends from the Y, and a bid day today with library and pool time. I have to say I was pretty proud when my baby Lori passed her swimming test to be able to go down the big slide today. She was the smallest one running up those steps to slide down! And she could have done it all day! Even a little boy asked "Hey did she get a green wrist band?" "Yep." "Wow, that's amazing!" I am so proud of her. She had to swim a full lap doing any stroke and tread water for a full minute. Go Lori!

Off and running!

Yipee! Class has started and we are off and running! The doodlers are doodling up a storm and we got more people then I had ever dreamed of to come play with us!
There are links all over to the free warm up class

and I even have an international student from Italy posting about me in Italian no less. The only thing I can read is my name. how amazing is that?
Tiz's Blog
I feel a little like a super star.
Best of all is the teaching! I am having so much fun being back doing this. Now if I can just keep the ball rolling! And keep coming up with fresh ideas!

Bike

Well we got a new bike for Miss. Sara and now the mission is to ride the sucker. Bless her heart she has the balance of her Dad so it is not going very well. Lori on the other hand would have it if she would let me let go. She currently is holding on with a death grip. We'll get it these two stick with it which is awesome.
Week one of summer down. First round of swim lessons. My warm up class for Oodles of Doodles up and running. My first on-line chat and lots of fun. This is going to be a whirl-wind, bang-up summer. Just perfect!

Today

So this is not a photo from today but it is the assignment I am giving myself today and that is to add a photo to a post to see if I can make it work. I t is a photo from about two weeks ago right before the dance recital. Sara, Lori, Mom and I went to the library and park after we picked up Sara from school. It was a gorgeous day for the park and Sara was learning and showing off some new tricks on the monkey bars.

After the weather we have had the past couple days (tornadoes) I am wishing it looked like this again!

Header

Once again I figured this out a whole lot easier then I imagined I will do little pieces at a time but it is fun to see it all change. The girls and I are hanging out today. We are going to run some errands and then have lunch with John. Not much else on the schedule. The wind is howling here today so it's a good hanging out day anyway!

Woo Hoo

I have the best teacher in all the world. Look at me adding doo dads to my blog! Thank you so much Tami! I feel so smart! Any way the next big challenge is the overall look this is just not me but stay tuned I am going strong.

BTW - I just had one of the more perfect days out there I think. Today was Sara's first day off school so after I taught my step class this morning Lori, Sara and I all went swimming, then we went to McDonalds. Both events are a treat for a almost 5 and almost 7 year old. Then I got time to work on my class and a new proposal got the tile and wood floors cleaned and after 3 days of the flu feel positively fabulous! It was sunny to boot! What an awesome day!

Goals

Well I think my goal will be to start adding things here a little at a time. If I can spend two days a week even adding one thing to snazz up my page then I might not get behind on everything else. We'll see how that goes. I am so slow with the computer it only took me about 45 minites yesterday to add my blinky to the page. Woo Hoo. I am hoping I will get better as I go and maybe I can convince my graphic artist brother to give me a hand too. he he.

Leaping into the future

Well here I am trying this out. I am not sure how well I will stay current but my goal is to keep my family and friends up to dae and let others out there know what I am all about and what I am busy doing and creating. So here goes nothing!
