One more "cuppie" for another b-day friend that I just found out about. I decided to use the fun sketch over at Taylored Expressions for this one and fulfill their challenge while I was at it.

We are spending a quiet Memorial day today. The girls swam with Dad this morning and I got groceries done. We all had hot dogs and homemade fries for lunch then dad and I hit the couch for a nap. yeah! Tonight might have to be an ice cream night :-)

Hugs all!

Happy Sunday all. I am cranking them out :-) I am sure there will be a lull in the action here shortly. But go when the going is good don't you think. Here are the last two cards from my little stack, these are both made with Taylored Expressions stamps. I just made the connection that Taylor (the owner) is a friend of a friend and not only that she lives in my town so much fun to meet others that love this crafty world! I love the stamps that Taylored Expressions is selling the rubber cling are my absolute favorite and who does not like a smiling cupcake?! There is something wrong with you if you raised your hand. "Cuppie" is too cute! Taylored Expressions has a whole crew of characters and fun product, (besides that she seems extremely nice and has a great smile!) so if you are a crafter you might just want to take a peek. I of course colored my images with my Copics and will be sharing both these cards with friends this week!

Hi all here are two more of the cards I created this weekend. I will have two more to share tomorrow. I am saving 2 cute ones from a local stamp company that I just discovered I have a friend connection with! The "bun in the oven" stamp is a idea lift from the current challenge over at iCopic i saw this stamp there and just had to have it! iCopic's challenge this week was cast shadows. these are not some of my best but they will do for a quicky card.

This next card is made with a set of stamps made by Unity. Love their stuff as well. So I have been busy getting a little inky.

Sara is off on a Girl Scout adventure tonight yikes!! And Lori John and I hit Chick-fil-A for lemonade, YUM! Happy Saturday all!

Yes busy busy. Here is the pile of cards I completed this evening. Now if people would stop having events and birthdays maybe I could get some scrapping done! But I am having fun. I will get close ups of more of these in the next few days but here is one completed for the Michelle Perkett weekly challenge. we were supposed to create our own background paper ans I used my Copic air brush system to create the cloud pattern behind my Flower Goddess. I love Michelle Perkett images! But boy do they take a little extra time with all their yummy detail. Off to tuck the girls in, I'll be back to post more later!

Also this weekend is the last chance to grab my Copic Coloring #1 at the discounted price! So don't forget to check it out :-)

We are getting ready for a couple short trips and one grand adventure to Oregon this summer and lots of time at the pool for swim team and diving. Not to mention morning daycamps and fun.

A quick post to show off my latest card. This one is another beautiful image from Michelle Perkett and fulfills the challenge over at her blog. The challenge was to use die cuts of which I have very few, but the little flower is two layered die cuts that have been colored to match. It also works for the challenge over at iCopic they are exploring blond hair this week. My Spring Goddess is a dark blond and I used Copic YR31, Y23, Y26, and E35 to create her golden locks.

We are closing in on recital here at the Houghton house! 3 days to go woo hoo. I think we are all ready to be done this year.

Happy Tuesday all!

Long day here but wanted to get lots of stuff up here and then I will go to bed. We were at dress rehersals today for the majority of today so we are all wiped out. Recital this Saturday and dance is done. I recorded the dress rehearsal so I will post those later this week.

First here is a layout I made for the current challenge at A Day For Daisies. They have a wonderful card sketch that of course I have turned into a layout :-) The image is one of Tammy Thompson's beautiful creations and could not have been more perfect for my family!

Here is a close up of our bear and two girls :-)

I think this is quickly becoming a favorite image of mine! It is a creation of Michelle Perkett and I love how quick and easy it is to color and adapt to any set of papers! So fun!

And to top it off my Mermaid images were chosen (randomly) as the winner of last weeks challenge at Michelle Perkett's challenge Blog! Thanks ladies!

Off to bed!

I want to make sure that anyone who is interested knows that my newest class Copic Coloring will be starting June 7th at Get It Scrapped!!!! It will run for 5 weeks with two lessons a week on Tuesdays and Thursdays. If you are going to be out of town no biggie! Remember this is on line and the lessons do not disappear so you can do them at your own pace. I hope any Copic colors out there who are interested will join me for the adventure. The class will go up for sale around the 16th and I will make sure to let you know!

Happy Thursday all! Told you I was getting busy with my crafting! I am a Guest Design Team Member today over at Michelle Perkett Studio. I made a layout and a card featuring two of Michelle's amazing mermaids. The challenge this week is mermaids. Michelle has a whole fleet of them and they are all stunning.

I love them because I have two mermaids in my home and they seem to get more and more fish like as they get older so I might be doing a lot of mermaid layouts in days to come. the weather here is still hot and muggy today but tomorrow is supposed to drop about 20 degrees so we will see. The girls recital is next week and we will be done with dance for who knows how long. The girls have both decided to take at least next year off.

Have a great day everyone!

Part 2 on the catch up of cards! Here are two images from A Day For Daisies. They of course are looking for Mom images as well. I could tell you who they are for but I don't want to ruin the surprise. But these two Mom's might be able to guess ;-)

Not much news since yesterday but keep watching, there is more to come!

Well this week I am playing catch up! Not only do I get to participate in a few challenges again (because my class is all turned in! YIPEEEEE!) I also have an enormous pile of birthdays and events to send belated cards too! Better late than never right?!! Right?!! So here is my first one that I am sending out to a dear friend. I am also completing it for a challenge at Michelle Perkett Studio's challenge blog we were creating Mother's day cards. They have a fun month going on there.

This next one is going out for a belated birthday and the image is also from Michelle Perkett. She is one of the fabulous guest artist's in my upcoming class!

On the family front we have two weeks left of dance. 3 weeks left of other after school activities and 4 weeks left of school. So I better get anything done quickly that I need to get done before I have to monkeys tagging along for the summer :-)

Well as I make amazing progress on my class I thought I would give you all another sneaky peek! This first image is part of one from my designs.

This second image is from one of my favorite digital artists Michelle Perkett. I will be a guest DT member at her blog next week on Thursday so you will have to check it out!

I should have all the writing and photos done tomorrow and should know in the next week when the class will be running! I really am excited about the art work and sharing the stamps that have been shared with me.

The girls are good. Sara is thriving in her diving and Lori is growing fins with all her time in the lap lanes. They are both signed up to try swim team this summer. they are excited and I am a little nervous. Not for how they will do but how all consuming I know that sport can be. But who am I to point fingers, I spent up to 12-15 hours a week in a dance studio by the time I was in high school but at 6 and 8 I guess i am still a little concerned. We will see how summer goes.

John is crazy busy these days, lots of longs days and late evenings, we cherish the time we have him at home.

Hugs to all!
